Connor Hagwood
Connor resides in Durham, NC. He plays mandolin for the band. At 20 years old he is the youngest of the Hagwood brothers. He is enrolled at Durham Technical Community College where he is taking business courses. He works part-time at Gibson Fence Co., a locally-owned and operated company in Durham.

Connor started mandolin lessons in 2004 at the age of 7 years old with Jan Johanssen of Cary. He continued his music education with Michael Pope of Durham, NC alongside his brothers, Caleb and Jackson for six years as part of his homeschool studies. He has won numerous individual competitions in adult and youth categories. Some of the most notable are a 1st place win in the Adult Mandolin category and a 1st place win in Youth Musicianship on guitar at the Hoppin’ John Old Time Fiddler’s Convention in Silk Hope, NC. He won 1st place in Youth Instrumental Solo at the 2011 NC State Fair Folk Festival and 2nd place in the adult category the following year.

In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, target shooting, and guitar collecting. Connor is very active in the Bethesda Baptist Church praise band playing lead electric guitar. He was one of the first youth inducted into membership at the Bethesda Ruritan Club where he continues to serve his community.
